Old Cowtown Museum Rails and Trails Living History photos
Old Cowtown Museum is an open-air experience of the old days of
Wichita. It encompasses sixty-seven old and new structures with a staff
of professional and volunteer living history interpreters. Special events
celebrate the Civil War, Women of the West, the Age of the Gunfighter,
Rails and Trails, Victorian Christmas, and more.

Wichita was the terminus for cattle drives up the Chisolm Trail as the
Texas Longhorns were driven to the railheads for shipment.
