Stereo imagery provides a way to see the world that can often provide information
well beyond that included just in a single picture.
The full effect of the images require viewing in stereo. Consequently, only
stereo slides are offered for purchase.

Stereo Camera
The camera shown here is modeled on an 1860's wet plate
camera similar to those used by Civil War photographers. In this camera, a single glass plate is
exposed through two lenses. Each lens provides one of the pictures, which,
when mounted on a stereograph card, result in true retinal disparity stereo.

Windmill
It is very difficult to
identify the windmill in the individual photos. In stereo, however,
it stands out as being in front of the trees.
