OOPS!


The following pictures show the effects of various errors. While the individual pictures shown here look ok, stereo photographs depend on a very precise relationship between the two pictures that contribute to the overall view. If even a single element is out of register, the resulting stereo view will be effected. A small error may just be annoying. Other errors can give a view that is very disturbing as things that we KNOW are in the background appear in the foreground. The full effect of the images require viewing in stereo. Consequently, only stereo slides are offered for purchase.

Fast Hands
When there is movement between the two pictures that make up the stereo pair, the result is an uncomfortable flickering effect.The right hand of the musician playing the bodhran (the celtic drum)moves between the two images of the stereo pair.
